After learning from some of the best in the design business from production at Thom Browne and Jason Wu to design at Peter Som and Thakoon, Ellie Malouf Gilchrist launches her own line "Empowered Cowgirl" bringing her Texas ethos to New York and beyond.
Ellie graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in Apparel Design and Manufacturing in 2012 and headed straight to NYC for an internship at Harper's Bazaar. In 2018, she earned her masters in fibers from SCAD (Savannah College of Art & Design). Ellie received the Dorothy Waxman International Textile Prize and showcased her textile collection in the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Future Fashion Graduates curated event.
